Welcome to the CDN LOG

So, these two were the ones that started it all ... Gerard de Marigny and Michael Greenburg, known affectionately to their friends as "g" and "Mikey." The picture was taken in the bar of a hotel, in Los Angeles, back in October, 2014. They were in LA to meet with a potential financier for the first CDN feature film, CRIS DE NIRO: THE WATCHMAN OF EPHRAIM (CDN:TWoE). The meeting went well and laid the groundwork for further discussions ... and that's about all I can say about that, at least right now. Unfortunately, so much of what goes on behind the scenes of an independent multi-media production company can't be divulged. But, rest assured, what can be told, will be told here. Now, log entries will only be made when something happens worth logging. There's more than enough nonsense fluff on the net as it is ... this log keeper has no intention of adding to it.

Why did they create this site now? (thanks again for asking) CDNFilms.com was created now because CDN:TWoE is now in late development phase.

​What does "late development phase" mean? (you are a curious bugger, aren't you) Late development phase means, Mikey and g have written and polished the script to the point that the project is now being "shopped."

​What does "shopped" mean? (now, you're starting to annoy me) People interested in producing the film (financing it) are now taking a close look.

​What does "financing it" mean? (enough with the questions!!)

​Okay ... that's enough for this first log entry. Here's hoping this will be the first of many more.
