CDN Films is a diversified media company founded by Gerard de Marigny and Michael Greenburg in 2014. The Company is primarily focused on producing film adaptations of de Marigny's Amazon-Bestselling CRIS DE NIRO series of novels. The Company's first offering is the feature film CRIS DE NIRO: THE WATCHMAN OF EPHRAIM, based on book one of the Cris De Niro novel series. The script for CDN: TWoE was written by Greenburg and de Marigny and the film project is now in development.

Gerard de Marigny is an American novelist and screenplay writer. His newest release is WHITE WIDOW (Cris De Niro, Book 7). In 2017, he wrote and published the novel NEW DETROIT (CRIS DE NIRO, Book 6) and the novella JOSHUA’S COUNTRY. He also completed co-writing the reboot of the GRIZZLY ADAMS TV series, GRIZZLY ADAMS: The Gold Rush Years with his writing/producing partner Michael Greenburg and Tod Swindell. In 2017, de Marigny also co-wrote two feature films with Greenburg: APERTURE: The Dorothea Lange Story, a biopic focusing on the classic works by the famed photojournalist, and BLACK ICE, the epic and virtually unknown tale of the fabled champions of the Colored Hockey League (CHL).
In August 2017, de Marigny was brought on board as narration writer for a new reality series created and produced by Greenburg and Chad Denning in development on CMT Network. In September 2017, de Marigny became co-writer of the feature film, LEONARDO, originally written by Greenburg.
In November 2016, de Marigny and Greenburg completed the screenplay CRIS DE NIRO: THE WATCHMAN OF EPHRAIM based on de Marigny’s first novel, The Watchman of Ephraim (Cris De Niro, Book 1). de Marigny and Greenburg have also already begun beating out the sequel, CRIS DE NIRO: Signs of War.
As a novelist, de Marigny is currently beginning work on JOSHUA'S COUNTRY: INVASION, the next CRIS DE NIRO novel, and the launch of a new action faith-based fantasy series, NAZIR.
Since his 2011 inaugural publication of THE WATCHMAN OF EPHRAIM (CRIS DE NIRO, Book 1), Mr. de Marigny has independently published seven CRIS DE NIRO novels and two novellas, along with the modern war western, JOSHUA'S COUNTRY. These literary works are set in the days and years following September 11, 2001 when a non-governmental based counter-terrorism firm is formed to respond to crises born from a variety of modern geopolitical events. The series of books resonate with espionage, sub-genre fiction readers from around the world.
Prior to his writing career, Gerard worked in the financial services industry, and prior to that, he wrote, recorded and produced music for other artists, for television and was a member of the rock band, Americade. He is a graduate of Penn State University. Gerard and his wife Lisa live in the foothills of Las Vegas, Nevada with their two cats, Nalah and Katya. They have four sons, Jared, Ryan, Jordan, and Noah.

Michael Greenburg (MACGYVER, LEGEND, STARGATE SG-1) and his brother Ross Greenburg (MIRACLE, 61*, 54 Emmys and the former President of HBO SPORTS) are currently producing NHL Original Programming. Michael is currently producing ROAD TO THE WINTER CLASSIC 2019. Prior to that, he produced QUEST FOR THE STANLEY CUP for ESPN+ and ROAD TO THE WINTER CLASSIC 2018 for NBS Sports. In 2017, he produced the Emmy-nominated ALL ACCESS: QUEST FOR THE STANLEY CUP 2017 for SHOWTIME and the Emmy-nominated series EPiX PRESENTS: THE ROAD TO THE NHL WINTER CLASSIC 2017. Michael has produced THE ROAD TO THE NHL WINTER CLASSIC and STADIUM SERIES for EPiX and Rogers SportsNet for the last four seasons. In 2014, Michael produced the highly acclaimed series NHL REVEALED: A SEASON LIKE NO OTHER, a behind the scenes documentary series featuring the six outdoor Stadium Games and the Sochi Olympics for NBC Sports and the CBC. The Greenburg Bros are also producing the feature film GAME OF SHADOWS, written and directed by Ron Shelton and based on the New York Times Bestseller. Michael is adapting the bestselling Cris De Niro novels for the big screen with the author and his writing and producing partner Gerard de Marigny. Michael and Gerard just finished their final draft of Black Ice, the ragtime story about the birth of the Colored Hockey League, which was the “Roots” of the NHL. They are also writing and producing the new Grizzly Adams: The Gold Rush Years series with their partner Tod Swindell. Michael and Gerard also penned the film, Aperture: The Dorothea Lange Story.
Michael was the Executive Producer of Score Productions Inc. (2007-2012), a wholly owned subsidiary of Score Media Inc. (TSX: SCR). Score Media’s main asset is THE SCORE TELEVISION NETWORK, a sports network available across Canada. Score Media also operated THE SCORE RADIO NETWORK, which was available across North America on SIRIUS-XM Satellite Radio, and other interactive assets including theScore.com and SCORE MOBILE.
Prior to his Score deal, Michael and his production partner Richard Dean Anderson, operating under their production company banner GEKKO FILM CORP, together with MGM Worldwide Television, produced their decade long hit series STARGATE SG-1. STARGATE SG-1 premiered on SHOWTIME during the summer of 1997 and continued for four seasons before continuing on the Syfy Network, FOX syndication. Stargate SG-1 continues to air in over a hundred countries throughout the world. Michael also produced STARGATE ATLANTIS: RISING, the two-hour premiere spin-off pilot of STARGATE SG-1. The two STARGATE series were the highest rated shows in the history of the Syfy Network.
Before their MGM commitment, Michael and Rick had an overall deal with PARAMOUNT PICTURES developing and producing television films and series. In 1995, under this agreement, Michael produced FIREHOUSE, a CBS pilot about a rescue fire station in the Soho area of Manhattan. Michael and Rick produced Firehouse with Tom Fontana (HOMICIDE, OZ) on location in New York. It turned out to be five years ahead of its time. Michael also produced the critically acclaimed LEGEND, a quirky western adventure series set in 1876 which starred Rick as Ernest Pratt, an inked-stained wretch of a dime novelist who, reluctantly assumed the role of his own fictitious literary hero Nicodemus Legend. A LEGEND remake is always in development. Prior to LEGEND, in 1993, Michael filmed two highly rated MACGYVER movies on location in London for ABC television: MACGYVER: THE LOST TREASURE OF ATLANTIS, and MACGYVER: TRAIL TO DOOMSDAY.
Michael produced the iconic MACGYVER series from 1986-1992 and won many awards including: The Environmental Media’s Continuing Commitment Award, a Vision Award, a Golden Reel Award, and TV Week’s People’s Choice Award. MACGYVER went off the air on ABC with a 23 share. Michael has also produced feature films: ALAN QUARTERMAIN AND THE LOST CITY OF GOLD, and the IMAX film MY STRANGE UNCLE, as well as various other television films, which include: IN THE EYE OF A STRANGER, THE VEGAS STRIP WAR, and DIXIE: CHANGING HABITS.
He was born in San Antonio Texas and grew up in Scarsdale, New York. Michael headed west to attend the University of Southern California where he graduated in 1973. Three years on the World Pro Skiing Circuit and four years as an assistant director led to his producing break in 1979 thanks to Don Ohlmeyer on the NBC Mini Series THE GOLDEN MOMENT. He has since produced over 400 hours of prime-time television.
Michael is an active supporter of animal rights causes in Africa, Canada, and The United States. Michael and his choreographer/director wife Nikki are presently living in Nashville with their children DJ and Kenya, 7 horses, a mini donkey and 2 dogs.
